I'm really sorry to be negative, since I love the harnesses and have no issues with them, but I had to stop using this lead. The reason being that the clip would come undone by itself. Once was when my dog shook, and the other time she was just walking calmly by me and it came off! Both times by the roadside, so I couldn't risk using it again. It was a shame as it went nicely with her harness.

I am very sorry to hear that this has happened, Pixie. The manufacturing of the spring in the clip is obviously faulty and needs to be sent back to our metalwork supplier. Please send the lead back to us - Dog Games Ltd, PO Box 47, Malvern, Worcs, WR14 2DF - and we will send you a replacement. This is always been our company policy should any of our manufactured goods be faulty in any way.

We take the safetey of dog very seriously and have world-wide product liability insurance (which thankfully in all the years we have been manufacturing we have never had to use yet! Sadly, not all pet goods manufacturing companies provide this level of backup....) Sally (Posted on 06/06/2010)
