Packed in 350g bags, these 3" x 6" strips of Rawhide are ideal for tiny dogs and young puppies who cannot cope with big bulky hide chews. They can gnaw and nibble at the edges, finding that they get soft and more chewable as their saliva soaks into the Rawhide.

If your little one is reluctant to start chewing them, can I suggest rubbing a tiny amount of meat or fish paste into the Rawhide so that the smell and taste encourages them to chew.

One Chip lasts quite a long time for these tiny little dogs and so the packs are great value for money.

Please be aware that as your puppy grows these Chips may become too small and could be swallowed whole. Also these Chips are not suitable for medium and large sized dogs.

RAWHIDE is made of fresh, examined and veterinary approved beef hides only. The production company is part of a large slaughterhouse. The hides are processed directly after the slaughter of the cows. This in contrast with a lot of anonymous chew-products.

RAWHIDE is fully digestible. Farm Food Rawhide is solely made of fully digestible hypodermic interstitial tissue (the inner layer of the skin) from cattle raised for meat production. This hypodermic interstitial tissue is very tough and solid yet dogs find it easy to digest and it has almost no nutritional value so that dogs do not put on weight chewing them.

RAWHIDE is absolutely clean and save. The hides are washed clean with absolute safety to the dogs by using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) which then splits back into water and oxygen. This process kills the bacteria and prevents the RAWHIDE from becoming sticky or smelly after chewing.

RAWHIDE is totally pure and does not use or contain any chemical substances (such as chrome, bromine or arsenic) in any part of its production. Furthermore the producers decided not to use any colouring to enhance the products appearance. Although colouring is known to be harmless, they believe it is wise not to use such unnecessary ingredients, because of the known negative influence of colouring on the behaviour of some children.

RAWHIDE does not cause allergic reactions (apart from beef allergies, of course). The above listed arguments make sure that allergic or intolerance reactions are unlikely to appear with Farm Food Rawhide. This in contrast to many anonymous chew-products that are on the market at the moment.

RAWHIDE is a heavy natural chew product which takes a long time to chew because of the thickness of the skin. Some similar chews are puffed up to make them appear larger but do not last as long.

RAWHIDE does not smear or smudge. Dogs can chew on Farm Food Rawhide anywhere, normally without leaving any stains (only if the dog is a very fast chewer, saliva spots can occur). This is because the chews are very clean and without any colouring. Furthermore Farm Food Rawhide will not become sticky. This is an advantage especially for dogs with long hair around the face and upper body.
