I really like this range of knotted rope toys. They are knotted and woven in such a way as to leave holes into which enticing bits of food (e.g. small bits of - dog biscuits, cheese, cooked meat, dried or fresh dog treats - the scope and choice is endless for both you and your dog to experiment with!)
They can also be attached to long lines or leads and either shaken or dragged along the ground in order to attract your dog's attention and fulfill its inquisitive hunting instincts.
Another benefit of these toys is that although they are tightly woven they still have a lot of "give" in them so that the dog can relieve its pent up stress and adrenaline levels by biting and chewing the toy without it feeling too hard and unforgiving on its teeth and gums.
