I am particularly impressed with this chew toy, which is a variation on the Bouncy Bone, which we have sold plenty of in the past few years.
Like the Bouncy Bone, it unscrews and comes apart so that you can thread refill gnawhide rings in between the bristle and nobbly rubber rings in the center of the toy. However, it is harder for the dog to get at the gnawhide ring as it has to nibble away at them, attempting to solve the problem by adjusting its head in different directions so that it can reach the ring at the optimum angle.
On top of the massaging of the teeth and guns by the bristles and nobbly rings, the bone has the added bonus of the hard nylon ends which offer the dog even more variety of textures and firmness on which to chew.
PLEASE NOTE : This toy is designed for maximum interactive enjoyment and is not considered "indestructible". Supervise your dog during intial play. Inspect the toy regularly and replace if excessive damage is detected. Chewing the Bristle Bone may also result in some slight bleeding at the gum line. If this occurs the manufacturers suggest that you remove the toy for a few days.
