This is such a simple yet clever idea! So many dogs love to play with plastic water bottles because of the wonderful sounds they make, and also the contrast in texture between the hardness of the plastic and the satisfying way it flexes when pressed in the mouth.

This toy takes the game one step further by having a velcro fastening at the bottom of the toy so that empty plastic bottles can be inserted in to the super-soft plush toy and then sealed in place. This gives the dog the added dimension of the soft texture of the fabric while still getting its "Fix" from squashing the bottle inside.

The plush fabric also helps to preserve the life of the bottle as the dog's teeth cannot puncture and break the bottle as easily as before. This is helped by the inner lining of super-tough fabric, offering extra durability.

Ok, I realise that the ears, tail and arms may be chewed off by some determined dogs rather quickly as they stick out so temptingly, but after all that is what extremeties are for (from these dogs point of view!). However, the details on the toy are embroidered in place so that there are not nasty plastic bits to get in the dog's teeth or gums when pressing on the toy.
