These strong and hardy balls are made with a black plastic ball in the center, and sturdy rubber outer ridges which medium to large sized dogs find easier to grip in their teeth and hold.

Another feature of this toy is that it has a small ball (or metal ball-bearing) fused inside the black inner ball. This means that every time the toy is moved it makes a swishing rattling sound that some dogs find quite fascinating and appealing.

Please be aware that these toys are quite heavy and some dogs may find them quite daunting to hold and carry in their mouths - they may prefer to push them across the floor with their nose or paws, listening to the sound they make.
