WHICH STRENGTH OF LEAD IS RIGHT FOR YOUR DOG?
Bungee Pupee Leads come in four different sizes, depending on the dog's weight and pulling strength.
Although each strength of lead has guidelines as to the maximum weight of the dog, we have found that certain dogs have greater pulling power than is expected for their body weight - particularly those with high levels of adrenaline in their bodies.
We have listed "typical" breeds of dogs for each of the sizes to help you choose -

1 cord - Puppies and small dogs up to approx. 25 lb (11.34 kg) in weight (eg. small terriers).
One cords are often effective in training young puppies not to pull as there is no tension for it to pull against.

2 cord - Small dogs up to approx. 45 lb (20.41 kg) in weight
(eg - Cocker Spaniels, Terriers, small Border Collies etc)

3 cord - Medium dogs up to approx. 65 lb (29.48 kg) in weight
(eg - Springer Spaniels, Border Collies, Labradors etc)

4 cord - For large dogs up to approx. 165 lb. (74.84 kg) in weight
(eg - German Shepherds, large male Labradors etc) and "Serious Pullers".
The 4 cord has been "test driven" by a Great Dane to great effect!

Do not worry if you find you have ordered the wrong strength of lead
We will exchange it for a stronger or weaker lead at no extra charge (as long as the label is still attached). We do not charge for the extra cost of P&P. Some customers order two different sizes and then return the one that is not suitable for a refund.
